Cody
Mascot & Chief of Security
Cody, the shop’s Chocolate Labrador, will be your favorite member of the Shore Brake crew the moment you step in the door. Sometimes he will be the first to greet you with tail wagging and a wet kiss. He reminds us that happiness is found enjoying the simplest things, like bikes, tennis balls and belly rubs. Charlie
Owner, Certified Technician
Charlie fell in love with Long Beach Island as a young child when he used to visit his Great Grandparents. But his love for bicycles started when he first learned to ride at the young age of two! Since then, his love for cycling grew, completing a number of triathlons including a Half Ironman in 2012, becoming certified by the United Bicycle Institute, the industry’s leading technical school, and finally opening his own shop in 2016. Outside the bike shop, Charlie is an avid surfer and fisherman.
Chelsea
Owner
Born and raised in New Jersey, Chelsea spent her summers on Long Beach Island. All her fondest memories on the island were while on a bike, including meeting Charlie. Though you will not see her as often in the shop as Charlie and Cody, she is an essential part of Shore Brake Cyclery team managing all marketing and partnerships.

As longtime residents of Long Beach Island, we have an everyday appreciation for the work we do and the people we serve. We proudly support local businesses (most are owned by many of our close friends) and can often be seen at local charity events! This community is like a family to us, and we are excited to be a part of its growth.
We couldn’t be luckier to work, live and play here on Long Beach Island.
